Ich bin so müde. Ich weiß nicht, wie viel längere ich so weitergehen kann und also ich für diesen Schlaf bete, der Tod genannt.
So here is whats going on.
The company we were working with in Vegas tried to scam us, after months of work on several web sites they decided to not pay us, and cancel all contracts. In short this kinda screwed us out of a rather large chunk of money.
Now we are penniless, hungry, and have a ton of bills that are past due. But this could be a good thing for all of you. Because of our predicament we are offering our basic web design package at a greatly reduced price. For a short while you will be able to enjoy our Starter package for $450. The break down works like this.
One year of hosting = $240
One Domain name = $10
Starter Website design (3-5 unique pages) = $200
We specialize in web sites for the adult industry, and small businesses, but are capable of building anything you dream of.
If you are looking for more pages just let us know what you are looking for and we can work out an extremely reasonable price for you. No site is too big or too small.
Found this on a friends journal and I couldn't pass it up as you can see by reading he found it elsewhere and he was unable to pass on it as well.
This was an email that someone sent to me - I doubt it is accurately attributed, but I think it is funny as hell nonetheless.
Weather Bulletin - Colorado
Priceless. Think about this for a moment.
This text is from a county emergency manager out in the western part of Jefferson County after a snowstorm.
Up here, in the Northern Plains, we just recovered from a Historic event--- may I even say a "Weather Event" of "Biblical Proportions" --- with a historic blizzard of up to 44" inches of snow and winds to 90 MPH that broke trees in half, knocked down utility poles, stranded hundreds of motorists in lethal snow banks, closed ALL roads, isolated scores of communities and cut power to 10's of thousands.
George Bush did not come.
FEMA did nothing.
No one howled for the government.
No one blamed the government.
No one even uttered an expletive on TV.
Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton did not visit.
Our Mayor did not blame Bush or anyone else.
Our Governor did not blame Bush or anyone else, either.
CNN, ABC, CBS, FOX or NBC did not visit - or report on this category 5 snowstorm.
Nobody demanded $2,000 debit cards.
No one asked for a FEMA Trailer House.
No one looted.
Nobody - I mean Nobody demanded the government do something.
Nobody expected the government to do anything, either.
No Larry King, No Bill O'Rielly, No Oprah, No Chris Mathews and No Geraldo Rivera. No Shaun Penn, No Barbara Striesand, No Hollywood types to be found.
Nope, we just melted the snow for water.
Sent out caravans of SUV's to pluck people out of snow engulfed cars. The truck drivers pulled people out of snow banks and didn't ask for a penny.
Local restaurants made food and the police and fire departments delivered it to the snowbound families.
Families took in the stranded people - total strangers.
We fired up wood stoves, broke out coal oil lanterns or Coleman lanterns.
We put on extra layers of clothes because up here it is "Work or Die".
We did not wait for some affirmative action government to get us out of a mess created by being immobilized by a welfare program that trades votes for 'sittin at home' checks.
Even though a Category "5" blizzard of this scale has never fallen this early, we know it can happen and how to deal with it ourselves.
Before you get your panties all in a twist and start thinking I'm an insensitive asshole for not caring about the plight of NOLA, go right ahead and kiss my ass now. Thanks!
Send me money so I can buy this guy a beer.
It will be found an unjust and unwise jealousy to deprive a man of his natural liberty upon the supposition he may abuse it. - George Washington
A Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever. - John Adams
I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man. - Thomas Jefferson
Do not separate text from historical background. If you do, you will have perverted and subverted the Constitution, which can only end in a distorted, bastardized form of illegitimate government. - James Madison
If America wants concessions, she must fight for them. We must purchase our power with our blood. - James Monroe
Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide. - John Quincy Adams
There are no necessary evils in government. Its evils exist only in its abuses. - Andrew Jackson
Remember remember the fifth of November,
Gunpowder, Treason and Plot,
I see no reason why gunpowder and treason
should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes, 'twas his intent
to blow up the King and the Parliament.
Three score barrels of powder below,
Poor old England to overthrow:
By God's providence he was catch'd
With a dark lantern and burning match.
Holloa boys, holloa boys, make the bells ring.
Holloa boys, holloa boys, God save the King!
Hip hip hoorah!
A penny loaf to feed the Pope.
A farthing o' cheese to choke him.
A pint of beer to rinse it down.
A faggot of sticks to burn him.
Burn him in a tub of tar.
Burn him like a blazing star.
Burn his body from his head.
Then we'll say ol' Pope is dead.
Hip hip hoorah!
Hip hip hoorah!
Tiff and I started playing Star Wars Galaxies and are looking for others to join in with us so if you play let us know so we can all play together.....
Let's analyze our workplaces and compare them to our prisons...
In prison, you spend the majority of your time in an 8' X 10' cell.
At work, you spend most of your time in a 4' X 4' cubicle.
In prison, you get three meals a day.
At work, you only get a break for one meal, and you have to pay for that one!
In prison, you get time off for good behavior.
At work, you get rewarded for good behavior with more work!
In prison, a guard locks and unlocks all the doors for you.
At work, you must carry around a security card and unlock and open all the doors yourself.
Prison Versus Work In prison, you can watch TV and play games.
At work, you get fired for watching TV and playing games.
In prison, they ball-and-chain you when you go somewhere.
At work, you are just ball-and-chained.
In prison, you get your own bathroom.
At work, you have to share.
In prison, they allow your family and friends to visit.
At work, you cannot even speak to your family and friends.
In prison, all expenses are paid by taxpayers with no work required.
At work, you get to pay all the expenses to go to work and then they deduct taxes from your salary to pay for the prisoners.
In prison, you can join many programs which you can leave at any time.
At work, there are some programs you can never get out of.
In prison there are wardens who are often sadistic.
At work, well . . . we have managers!
This list can get a bit longer, but we can leave it at this for now.
is it possible to hate and love somethinag at the same time?
I find myself torn on a great many things.
Like: I hate and love my life right now.
I hate and love my job
I hate and love the town I live in.
I hate and love America.
I think i am lost, and I need help to find myself, but have no idea who I can turn to, im not even sure who I can trust anymore. I know that my judgement is impaired right now, but fuck, I have never fealt this boxed in before.
ego metus non malum vir.
You tell me to have Faith, Hope, Charity, Fortitude, Justice, Prudence, and Temperance
But all I get is Pride, Envy, Anger, Avarice, Sadness, Gluttony, and Lust.
